Would come here again if I ever visit Shanghai. Good value, you're getting good service.

Our room had a soft bed and a particularly good view. There was a good bathroom with a shower, hair dryers, and bath sheets. Location: the hotel was not far from subway stations, the river/garden, and the Suzhou River. The employees at the property were nice and pleasant: D

Greatly enjoyed the cool enough and comfy room with beds decent. I had toast, butter, and jam in the morning. The location was marvellous and pleasant for first time visitors to Shanghai. The service was good in my opinion.

Totally very relaxing stay for the 2 nights. Fairly clean hotel in a nice building near restaurant, the Suzhou River and subway stations which shoots right into the city and even Pudong. Breakfast with Chinese food, congee and cereal options. The staff - particularly helpful and cooperative. Favourable location very close to metro station, easy to get around...

Location: the hotel was near Close to the tube and shoes, city centre and a Carrefour supermarket. Everything here was brand-new, I would come here again.

Unbeatable location and very very helpful and really helpful staff were a definite plus. Distance to the airport was just 0.5 miles.

the position was comfy, restaurants and bars are near the hotel. it also provided variety of restaurants and bars.

Well, Wi-Fi was very poor.

holiday inn express shanghai putuo was a pleasant surprise! after my previous stay in shanghai, i didn't expect much, but this hotel exceeded my expectations. the rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options, and the subway connection was perfect for getting around the city. i especially loved the quiet location by the river and the proximity to a shopping center.

Wifi was weak.

Hotel was ok. Staff didn`t spoke english very well. Breakfest was limited, but ok.

This hotel in the Putuo district of Shanghai offers great value for money. The rooms may be small, but they are clean and come with comfortable beds. The hotel is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and even has a nice view of the nearby creek. The staff is helpful and attentive, providing good service throughout our stay. Basic amenities are provided, including a laundromat which is a convenient feature. The breakfast, although not extensive, is sufficient with a decent variety of options to choose from.

All was ok, no improvement needed.

We chose to stay there because of their name Holiday Inn

Things that we did not like: 1) Staff refused to serve us because we dont speak Chinese so we were being ignored. 2) The hotel supposed to be non smoking but their staff do smoke inside the hotel made the complaint but didn't see any improvement. 3) Breakfast: the sausages and hams are coloured you can see the red coming out not for human. 4) The whole hotel only have one set of baby bed sheet, they just didnt change it even the baby bed was dirty. 5) The coffee cups was dirty didn't really wash by the house keeping. 6) House keeping cleaned the table with her hands not a cloth. We regret to stay there and we had to canceled a meeting due to the staff (SAM LI) refused to help us to arrange a taxi, instead he decided to help the local only.

The hotel was extremely clean and modern and walking distance to the subway. Very upmarket.

The staff were very cold and not very helpful regarding questions and directions to locations around the city.

We loved the hotel's proximity to The Metro, making it easy for us as bike riders to explore the city. We also appreciated the nearby supermarkets and restaurants, as well as the picturesque river nearby. The staff at reception were friendly and efficient, attending to our requests quickly and without any fuss.

We felt extremely welcome during our stay and have no complaints at all.

I liked that everything was ok to international standarts. Not excellent, but good! Satisfaction and my best wishes.
